6th form students – potential NHS Work Experience
Brighouse High Schoool 6th Form College has signed up for the following opportunities for our students. Students interested in the below mentioned opportunities must email Heidi Haigh on firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 10.00am on Monday 16th March to declare their interest.
The summer school which runs from July to August. This offers Year 12 A-Level students who don’t have any vocational experience, the opportunity to undertake three study days at Leeds teaching hospitals. Students who apply for a Nursing Associate apprenticeship post must have experience of personal care or witnessed it and this must be on an application form to get an interview.
Also for an Internment Programme. For post 16 students on vocational Health & Social Care courses :Leeds teaching hospitals are offering up to two weeks hospital based work experience. During this time students will work alongside a Trainee Nursing Associate on a ward and gain insight into the healthcare system. They will be able to spend time with other healthcare professionals to find out more about their role. For example:
