News Associates, Manchester – free journalism masterclass for sixth form students on Saturday October 27 (12:30pm-3:30pm) in our Manchester newsroom

I’m just getting in touch to let you know we are holding a free journalism masterclass for sixth form students on Saturday October 27 (12:30pm-3:30pm) in our Manchester newsroom.

Students can have a go at both written and broadcast journalism with individual feedback provided. There will also be time for a Q&A with our journalists and training team and careers advice.

I have attached a poster for you and would be very grateful if you could share it with your sixth form students.

If any of your students would like more information or would like to be signed up, just get them to email me.

More about us

Based in London and Manchester, The School of Journalism is run by News Associates – officially the UK’s number one NCTJ journalism school.

On our highly-practical degree trainees are taught by journalists not lecturers and work in newsrooms not classrooms.

We know how hard it is to juggle paid employment alongside studying which is why we are the only journalism degree offering all students optional £1,000 paid journalism placement or £1,000 towards a journalism project every summer of their degree.
