The position is called Tomorrow’s Natural Leaders (TNL) and is 4 days a week for 12 months getting lots of experience in practical conservation (tree planting, fence building, working with livestock, managing grasslands) in addition there are opportunities to learn about campaigning, social media marketing, surveying and working on engagement and education. The second six months involve working on a group project so project management and organisation skills can be developed.
All the information can be found here https://www.ywt.org.uk/get-involved/young-people/tomorrows-natural-leaders
At the moment we are recruiting people on a rolling basis so if there are any deadlines still on the website they can be ignored. The position is voluntary but a bursary is given, this was £250 a month but there was talk about potentially raising this for next year.
