These events are a chance for young people to meet local manufacturers and find out about the range of careers available in a range of industries. There will be a huge range of manufacturers and sectors represented, including food, upholstery, engineering, and cosmetics. Students will have the opportunity to meet young ambassadors, visit engaging exhibits and enter a competition. It is also a great opportunity for school staff to meet local employers and build their network of business contacts who can enhance the school careers programme.
Please bring your young people to come along and find out more about local manufacturers, the design to production process, the amazing products they make, the work companies are doing to reduce waste and save energy and resources to be more sustainable in the future.
