There will be two more Taster Days on 5th December and another on 6th February – more information to follow, plus specific workshops, e-mentoring, mock interviews, and new for this year a monthly Q&A with a student panel.

Are you interested in a career in medicine?
WAMS Taster Days offer a combination of workshops including Communication Skills, Ethics, Work Experience, and Basic Life support, together with the opportunity to talk to medical students and the admissions team to gain insight into studying Medicine. There will also be the opportunity to find out more about entry routes and alternatives to Medicine.
Application Criteria:
Year 12 (must be at least 16 years of age)
Priority is given to students from a widening participation background – See criteria
The workshops will be held on Blackboard Collaborative (full instructions will be supplied).
Applications open 17th October 2020 and closes 29th October 2020 at 5pm. Successful applicants will be notified by email.
It is very important that if you sign up for an event you commit to attending.
If your circumstances change and you can no longer attend, please notify us as soon as possible so that we can offer your place to another applicant.
