EY Graduate and Apprenticeship roles

We work in the Student Recruitment team and one of our roles is to look after Smart Futures recruitment. Since you are Smart Futures Alumni, we wanted to make you aware the applications for our EY 2021 Graduate and Apprenticeship programmes are now open, and offer you some extra support for your application if you wish to make one.

Applications are made through our website for Undergraduate and Apprentice programmes. We encourage you to explore the different options and find which type of work interests you most. There are two quizzes which may help you decide: 1) EY and You helps you find out if EY are the right company for you; 2) EY Pathfinder helps you work out which part of EY to apply to. On our website you can also learn how to apply, and pick up some application tips.

If you are interested in an Apprenticeship programme, in addition to the website, we have prepared some resources specifically for you. You may find this recorded presentation (https://youtu.be/bF6nwWmqU5I) useful to help navigate the application process for our Apprenticeship Programmes. It recommends some preparation for each stage. If you decide to follow the preparation guidance, we hope it will make your chances of success even higher. If you would like to apply for a Graduate role, you may still find elements of this presentation helpful, however there are differences to the application process.

Please do not share this recorded presentation or add to any playlists.

We recommend practicing the Numerical Reasoning Test as much as you can. They can take a few goes to get your eye in to these types of tests, even if you are particularly confident with your maths tests. There are plenty of varied practice tests online, and we have picked out a range to help get you started. Please note, EY does not endorse these test providers, instead we personally felt you would find value using this selection. Start practicing now, and make sure you have tried a good few before you sit the real one with EY.

Finally, we operate an open access policy and we don’t screen out any applications on your academic performance at A Level, Highers, or equivalent alone. However, you’ll need a minimum of grade 4/C in GCSE or equivalent in English Language and Maths. We assess your suitability for an EY role considering your scores in the online assessments alongside your academic attainment at A level, Highers, or equivalent. We combine the UCAS points you achieved (or are predicted) with your scores obtained in the online assessments, and expect a minimum threshold to be achieved. This means you will have the opportunity to show us your potential in the online assessments. For more details about this please see our website, or listen to the webinar above.

We hope this is useful, and wish you the best of luck with your application.
