Update to the Sutton Trust Summer School and Apprenticeships programme
Support students to sign up to a Sutton Trust Summer School
We are writing to let you know that we are extending the application deadline for our Sutton Trust Apprenticeship and Unive
As a return to school and college is now in sight for some students in parts of the UK, we would like to extend the application deadlines to give students more opportunity to hear about the programmes, discuss with their teachers and use computers at school to apply.
This will help to ensure students are applying to the programme most suited to them and allow students who may not have received information digitally with a chance to learn about and apply to our Summer Schools.
Students will now have until midday on Tuesday 16th March to submit their application and you will have until midday on Friday 19th March to verify any applications.
We have emailed all students who have either submitted or started an application to let them know about these changes. Decisions will still be made and communicated directly to students by the end of April.
We are also very excited to announce that this year we will be able to accommodate many more students than usual through our new digital platform Sutton Trust Online.
Access to our new digital platform will provide a one stop show for everything students need to know about university or apprenticeships. It will guide them through different areas of support including use of our personal statement builder and opportunities to interact with current undergraduates, apprentices
Students will be able to delve into our library of resources at any stage to help them explore, apply, prepare and succeed at university or as an apprentice. We will be delivering a programme of webinars alongside these resources to ensure students have everything they need to know and get all their questions answered.
On top of the almost 3000 places across our Summer Schools, we will be able to accommodate another 5000 students who meet a number of our criteria on the platform to receive support across the last two years of school or college, so please do encourage your student to apply.
